Poster Designs:

I worked on two separate poster designs. The first was a movie poster for Alien 3, aiming to capture the film’s dark and intense mood through bold typography and striking visuals. The second was a poster for a Hip-Hop Fusion breakdance battle event, using vibrant colors, dynamic fonts, and urban-style graphics to convey energy and excitement. Both projects had their own distinct style and purpose.

EXAMPLE:

For the Alien 3 movie poster, we also had to design a logo for a fictional film production company named Cinetics, which was given as a requirement to make the poster look professional and authentic.

Game Card Design:

For the game cards project, I designed the front sides in Photoshop and the back sides in Illustrator. These double-sided German-style cards feature professional portraits on the front, which I retouched after a digital photography session. On the back, I created an ornamental pattern using Illustrator, combining detailed artwork with clean vector design to give the cards a polished and cohesive look.

Collaborative Artwork: Extension Images

This project involved weekly collaborations in class, where each participant added to a shared image. Using Photoshop, we extended the image horizontally or vertically, or built upon existing elements. It was an engaging exercise in teamwork, creativity, and adapting to different artistic styles, while maintaining a seamless visual flow.

On the left side you can see the before and on the right side you can see my end result.

EXAMPLES:

In this Photoshop project, I extended the image by adding a woman leaning out of the window, plants in the bottom-right corner, a cat, and fire to enhance the scene’s depth and drama.

For the other image, I had to continue building by enlarging the canvas. It was very time-consuming because I recreated the landscape using the clone stamp tool.

For the next project, I came up with something completely new: I integrated the image as a billboard advertisement in Times Square, replaced the sky, and added more people to the crowd to make the scene busier and more dynamic.

Other Homeworks:

Here are a few examples of Photoshop homework tasks featuring a mix of creativity and technical skills. This set includes a power pole, a pinboard, a paper bag and a logo design. Each item serves as a canvas for practicing techniques such as layer blending, texture application, and composition. These assignments encourage exploration of Photoshop’s tools and inspire unique approaches to design.

Pinboard

For this project, I created my own personalized pinboard using Adobe Photoshop. The focus was on designing a practical yet visually appealing layout that reflects my style and creativity. It was a fun way to explore layers, textures, and digital collage techniques.

Power Lines and Skies

In this project, I used the power lines as a natural divider to create a dynamic collage of different skies. Each section was filled with unique sky images by applying masks to isolate the areas. The focus was on clean composition and precise masking, allowing each section to maintain its distinct characteristics while contributing to the overall harmony of the design. This project highlights how simple geometric divisions can be transformed into a visually impactful piece.

Bag Design and Branding

For this project, I designed and branded the “Biohof Roth” shopping bags. The aim was to reflect the brand’s organic and natural values. Using earthy tones, images of fresh produce, natural textures, and minimalist typography, the design creates a rustic, authentic countryside feel. The result is a sustainable and visually appealing packaging concept that reinforces the brand identity.

Logo Design

One of the last tasks was to design a logo for a school project focused on the environment.
